About Her
I am a healthy + succesful woman in my thrifty fifties:-) This is a time in my life that I like, because I know who I am, what I like and dislike, what I want and where I'm going (well, most of the time at least)!!!
I am very intelligent and love good conversation. I have a great sense of (Afrikaans) humour and love to converse with someone with the same kind of wit. However, I can also be serious and am a good listener:-) I'm a very humble and appreciative person who are very grateful for all that the dear Lord has given me!
I am divorced for 30 years!! I went out with a few guys after the divorce and after 10 years got seriously involved with someone who was my life-partner (or so I thought) for the past 20 years. We broke up a few months ago due to long distance problems (his not mine).
I enjoy the free time I have now to do all the things I never had the time to do, but ... enough is enough!!
I MiSS that someone special to share my life with: 2 believe what I believe ... that we all are here on this earth for a reason ... to help and love others unselfishly.
However selfishly, also 2 have my own special someone 2 cuddle up to when we watch TV, 2 hold hands with when walking in the Mall, 2 feel his strong arms close around me when I feel down, 2 keep me company when I prepare dinner, 2 get a surprise bunch of flowers with a card that says "I Luv U", 2 just listen to him getting excited about his work and plans for the future, 2 encourage him in his ambition + dreams, 2 travel together, 2 openly talk just about everything, but also 2 be comfortable when we just sit in silence.
Well, am I living on a planet of my own or is there someone out there who feels and wants the same things???
