Being an honest,friendly,reliable and fun person I like to try to enjoy life and dodge all the curve balls thrown at me,but sometimes we all get hit once in a while.But then we have to rub the wound and carry on again.
I love the outdoors and experiencing the wonders that this planet has to offer. There are some truly amazing places out there and sometimes the journey can be just as much fun.
I have two amazing children who mean the world to me,my partner must accept that I do have children although they don't live with me.
I am also done with the clubbing scene, I don't mind going out once in a while but late nighters are a thing of the past. I would rather spend quality time with that special person at a nice restaurant,or on the sofa with a dvd and on the warmer evenings sitting outside enjoying good conversation with good company.
I am not looking for one night stands. Please I am serious about finding that soulmate, companion, lover and friend.Someone to cherish time with and experience life with. Someone to cry with and someone to laugh with. I don't judge people by the way they look. It's the treasures that are on the inside that count.
Personally I am one of the gentler guys out there. Sure I can look after myself but it takes a lot to get me cross. I have strong morals and know what I want. I feel communication in a relationship is of upmost importance, even if it's a "Good morning" or a "Good night" Sometimes it's those little surprise messages or calls during the day just to say "Hi" that can be the most special. If you can accept someone loving you for who you are then that is an absolute plus. If you can accept someone elses children then you have just earned yourself some more brownie points. I am an effectionate person who likes to show there feelings. Ok there is a time and a place for everything but holding hands while shopping and actually going to ten thousand shops while you try on even more shoes is fine with me. If you want to go for a girls night out then fine. Just let me know if you need picking up and what time you will be home.I hate to worry.
You must enjoy the outdoors and doing things on the spur of the moment. Preferably someone who can enjoy staying home as much and doesn't need to be going out all the time is also an added bonus.Cosy nights in spending quality time together can be amazing. Sometimes the little things can be the biggest.
Someone who enjoys family time now and again,days out to parks or just going for a drive. Someone who can be just as comfortable being in the same room sitting in silence reading a book and not having to say anything but enjoys the feeling of still being with that person. Someone who enjoys the thought of being at a social gathering be it a braai or a party and looking up and seeing their partner across the room and smiling.Now that is what i call special.
