Easy-going! Being non-argumentative is very important. Obviously, similar interests are important. Someone who is kind and caring; more of an introvert than an extrovert. Don't take life too seriously.
It is a huge bonus if you can hold an intelligent conversation, but sometimes it is nice just to be quiet together. Laughing together really builds a relationship. I would love a companion to walk on the beach with ( sand between the toes :-) ) and go to a rugby or cricket match with.
